Her extensive experience defending both hospitals and individual physicians in professional malpractice lawsuits gives her a unique perspective in the handling of medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, and elder abuse cases on behalf of plaintiffs. Monica is well versed in all aspects of pretrial practice, and has written and successfully argued a number of dispositive motions. Monica’s clients appreciate her dedication to working on their behalf in an efficient and cost-effective manner, while always vigorously advocating for their interests. Professional Activities While at Santa Clara University School of Law, Monica was a recipient of the Dean’s Fellowship Scholarship, and was an Honors Moot Court Participant. She is an active member of the American Bar Association and the Santa Clara County Bar Association, and currently serves as a member of the Santa Clara County Bar Association’s Civil Practice Committee. Admissions Monica Burneikis is admitted to practice law in all California courts and in the U. S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
