Hoge Fenton has four core firm values, one of which is commitment to the communities in which we practice. Two components comprise that commitment: (1) financial contributions (including pro bono legal service), and (2) people support in the form of board service and active participation by our employees in the many organizations we support.
Our firm’s commitment to community service starts at the top. The majority of the firm’s shareholders serve on at least one community board, and many of our associates do as well. Over the past decade, Hoge Fenton has contributed more than $1 million to charitable organizations in the Silicon Valley, Peninsula, and Tri-Valley areas and has supported more than 90 community organizations.
Leadership in the Legal Community.
Over the years our members have been recognized for their commitment to the legal community. Eight Hoge Fenton alumni now serve on the Bench — four in the Santa Clara County Superior Court, one in the Monterey County Superior Court, one in the California Court of Appeal, and two in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California — and one serves as Chief Trial Counsel for the State Bar of California.
