At a luncheon held on February 11, Sean Cottle’s election to the Board of Directors of the San Jose/Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce was announced. This is Sean’s freshman year on the board.

Sblend has been active in the Chamber for many years and will be (re)installed to the Livermore Chamber’s 2011 board of directors. This will take place on Saturday, February 12, at the Livermore Chamber’s 85th annual gala event. 

In December 2010 major tax changes were enacted which impact estate, gift and generation skipping transfer taxes. Those changes will affect the taxation of gifts made during your lifetime and transfers made at your death.
